PA: Justification (third time)
Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a modern and contemporary art museum designed by Frank Gehry and located in Bilbao, Spain. It is built alongside the Nervion River and opened to the public in 1997. It was immediately considered as one of the world's most spectacular buildings in the style of Deconstructivism. The structure consists of radically sculpted, organic contours and as it is in a port town, it is intended to resemble a ship. Its brilliantly reflective titanium panels resemble fish scales, resembling other organic life. The building has an expressionist modern style placed in an urban setting. The 24,000 meter Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will serve as an architectural landmark recognizable worldwide. When I found the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao online, I found it absolutely remarkbale and was curious to learn what it was all about. At first, I thought it was another upcoming design plan, but it was really built during the 20th century.
